English Program for A1 Level Students

Goal:
Develop basic communication skills in familiar, everyday situations — speaking, listening, reading, and writing simple English.

Unit 1: Personal Information

• Talking about yourself: name, age, nationality, job

• Asking and answering simple personal questions

• Filling out basic forms (name, address, phone number)

Unit 2: Daily Activities

• Describing your day: wake up, go to work/school, eat, sleep

• Talking about time: “What time do you…?”

• Telling the time (hours and minutes)

Unit 3: Family and Relationships

• Family tree vocabulary: aunt, uncle, cousin, grandparents

• Describing people: appearance and personality

• Talking about family events

Unit 4: Food and Drink

• Common food and drink vocabulary

• Ordering food at a café or restaurant

• Talking about likes, dislikes, and preferences

Unit 5: Hobbies and Free Time

• Sports, music, movies, reading

• Talking about your hobbies: “I like playing football.”

• Making invitations: “Would you like to…?”

Unit 6: Shopping and Money

• Clothes, sizes, colors

End-of-Level A1 Objectives

By the end of A1, students should be able to:

• Understand and use familiar everyday expressions

• Introduce themselves and others

• Ask and answer questions about personal details

• Interact in a simple way if the other person talks slowly and clearly
